When is the Election and where do I vote?

Election day for the school and municipal election is Tuesday, June 2, 2020.  Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Your assigned polling place is based upon where you reside.  Click below to locate your polling place.

What is the deadline to register to vote in the June 2 election and how do I register?

To vote in the June 2 election, you must have been registered by March 11. 

 

If you have changed your name or address, you must have updated your registration by March 11.

How do I vote absentee?

Applications for absentee voting are available from your election board. Please inquire with your election board office to determine the process for requesting your ballot.  With some boards, applications can be completed online. Others require a request by mail.

 

In order to be counted, completed absentee ballots must be notarized before mailing back to the election board. Request for an absentee ballot must be received in the election board offices by 5 p.m. May 20 for the June 2 election.  Voters may also vote absentee at their election board office until 5 p.m. June 1.
